I am thrilled to contribute my design expertise to support Blue Star Families' mission. I'm excited to create visual content that tells the nonprofit’s story, amplifies their impact, and fosters a sense of connection within the communities they serve.
Creative Design Specialist / SECURA Insurance
I rejoined SECURA's marketing team in 2019 and immediately took on a rebranding project, which involved refreshing our color palette and updating all print and digital content. From there, I worked to maintain and elevate our brand standards, ensuring SECURA remained both fresh and relevant. A key part of my role involved close collaboration with my team, including supervising and mentoring the graphic design intern. My dedication to both creativity and teamwork helped us consistently produce high-quality, impactful marketing materials.
Graphic Designer / Shopko
As a member of Shopko’s advertising team, I was responsible for the design, layout, and production of circulars, direct mail, and other print advertising collateral. I worked closely with copywriters, production artists, photographers, and merchants to achieve the desired creative look for print advertising collateral and meet appropriate deadlines.
Graphic Design Intern / SECURA Insurance
Before returning to SECURA as a full-time graphic designer in 2019, I had the opportunity to work as an intern for a year while working on my Bachelor's Degree at St. Norbert College. This internship was my first taste of corporate life and professional graphic design work, and I learned invaluable lessons from my mentor and team.
